Just a very big thank you from Vee & myself for The wonderful three days fishing We have had with you. Everything was just perfect with prompt pick up and the quality of tackle provider was the best. A very professional approach.
As you know we have fished the lake many times over the years but we have never before experienced such consistently good fishing which must be a testament to your thorough knowledge of the lake combine with the fishing method and top quality baits. Our quietest day was 21 catfish which for anyone is wonderful fishing and our best day was a massive 30 fish. Not only did we catch excellent numbers of quality fish but Vee caught her personal best Giant Mekong catfish for the lake being a huge 26.55 kg and I also took my best fish from the lake of 24.5 kg. Again a Giant Mekong catfish in addition in the three days We took a large number of Giant Mekong catfish over 20 kg. Surely fishing at it best. We found you very good company , spoke excellent English and a great sense of humour. We will definitely be fishing with you again on our next visit and once again many thanks for the wonderful fishing

I have to say that my day spent fishing with Mr. Suvit was one of the most educational and enjoyable fishing experiences of my life. We started our day fishing for Giant Mekong catfish. The morning was filled with non-stop action. We were the only ones consistently catching fish Which go to show the great amount of knowledge that Mr. Suvit has for catching fish . With his help I was able to catch a 25 kilo. Mekong catfish the largest one I’ve caught so far in Thailand , and even bigger than any catfish I caught at Bungsamran fishing park in Bangkok. It was an excellent start to a day of fishing. The second half of the day was spent fishing for Giant snakehead at Mae kuang Dam. The scenery is gorgeous at the lake and even though it wasn’t the ideal time of the year to fish for Snakehead I was able to catch two large Snakehead with the help and guidance of Mr. Suvit
All in all it was an amazing day of fishing and I highly recommend any fishing package offered by Big Game fishing and Mr. Suvit . You will not find a more competent accommodating and friendly fishing guide in Thailand ! . I have him to thank for fulfilling my dream of not only catching one , But two Giant Snakehead!

Chiang Mai Giant Snakehead

I want to express what an enjoyable fishing day I had on Mae Kuang Lake with Mr. Suvit. I currently live in Bangkok, but have fished throughout Thailand, the USA, Canada, and Belize. I heard from a friend about the unique lure fishing for Giant Snakehead that Mr. Suvit offers near Chaing Mai, and I had to experience it myself. This day was like fishing in Canada or the US; big lake, natural fish population, and primarily using lures. Nowhere in Thailand have I cruised along by boat, casting buzz baits toward the shoreline while mist was rising off a lake. Mr. Suvit picked me up at my hotel before dawn, and except to break for a marvelous lunch overlooking the lake, we fished until dark. Although he told me I was not fishing during the prime season, it was not long before I was into my first fish. We had good fishing and nice conversation the entire day. I should mention he can guide for carp and catfish as well. I chose to fish only for Giant Snakehead, and I highly recommend this trip with Mr. Suvit.
